Hotel Jalta History

The design of the Jalta Hotel is one of the masterpieces of architect Antonín Tenzer. At its time, it was one of the most modern buildings in Prague. After fifty years of existence, its architectonic quality doesn't seem to grow old, proving the timeless character of this work of architecture, which conformed to neither ideology nor style nor political climate of the time of its creation. The Jalta Hotel, which forms an integral part of the character of Wenceslas Square, celebrated its fifty-year anniversary in 2008.
