Zlepšujeme naše znalosti a dovednosti!
Společně se třemi partnery, konkrétně COMO Restaurant s.r.o., Hotel Jalta a Plaza Alta Hotel a.s., realizujeme vzdělávací projekt na prohloubení a rozšíření kvalifikace našich zaměstnanců, kteří svoji každodenní činnost vykonávají právě v těchto prostorách. Díky tomuto projektu nabídne Hotel Jalta, a. s., COMO Restaurant s.r.o. a Plaza Alta Hotel, a. s. svým zákazníkům ještě vyšší úroveň poskytovaných služeb.
Dvouletý projekt, do kterého je zahrnuto 31 zaměstnanců na různých pozicích, výrazně rozšíří jejich schopnosti a dovednosti v oblastech gastronomie, ekonomie restaurace, obsluhy, tzv. měkkých dovedností či jazykových znalostí. V rámci tohoto projektu bude uskutečněno vzdělávání v rozsahu 31 školících dnů a 270 lekcí jazykové výuky.
Zvýšení adaptability zaměstnanců GRA Consultancy s.r.o. je financováno z fondů EU.Projekt „Další profesní vzdělávání zaměstnanců GRA Consultancy s.r.o.“ s registračním číslem CZ.2.17/1.1.00/34392 realizovaný od 1. 2. 2012 do 31. 1. 2014 je financován z Evropského sociálního fondu prostřednictvím Operačního programu Praha - Adaptabilita a z rozpočtu Hlavního města Prahy.
EARTH HOUR 2012
In recognition of the ecological celebration – March 31, 2012 from 20.30., “Earth Hour”, we at Hotel Jalta have decided to support the principles of the event by an hour of dimmed lights at the reception desk and in the restaurant. The hotel Jalta support the voluntary humanitarian organization STONOZKA. (www.stonozka.org).
General Manager/ Vojtěch Kačerovský took out 10.3.2012 some of teachers to stay and dine in the hotel Jalta as rewards for their effort for organization Stonozka.
Stonozka = Movement „On Own Feet“ is recognized as a fully voluntary humanitarian and peace organization, in which children help other children. It was founded by Czech living in Norway, Mrs. Bela Gran Jensen. There are thousands of children and hundreds of teachers from the Czech schools working in the movement today.

Celebrity Revue Richard 2011
Celebrity revue Richard Langer 2011(non gossip magazine) was held in the hotel Jalta 01.02.2012 where Mrs. Běla Jensen (President of a voluntary humanitarian and peace organization Stonozka(www.stonozka.org) took crystal award as a winner in the survey of the most favourite person in the Czech republic.

TINA B. Contemporary Art Festival 20.10. - 13.11. 2011 - This Year in the Hotel Jalta Fallout Shelter
The central motto of this year’s TINA B. Contemporary Art Festival in Prague is Art Eco Bio. Like every year the festival will take place at several locations at once. The main festival venue will this year be the fallout shelter beneath Hotel Jalta, which is where the gala opening will be held on 20 October at 18:00. More: www.tina-b.eu

Book Launch and Benefit Concert hold in the hotel Jalta 23.11. 2010. Significant Czech Celebrities such as Naďa Konvalinková, Honza Musil, V.Harapes, V.Hybš, Soňa Červená, Vlaďka Erbová, Tomáš Řepka, Tereza Černochová came to support benefit concert and the the Foundation for Cancer Research. We all commemorate Karel Černoch and his songs.

In the Hotel Jalta 4. - 6.11. 2010 were accommodated the finalists of Miss Grannie. The finalists were also shooting here their short personal funny spots. The competition is associated with the Foundation for Cancer Research, that Hotel Jalta respectfully supports.

On 8th September, 2010 at Wenceslas Square, right under the horse, attended by patrons Marek Vašut and Michal Malátný, held a initiation of photo exhibition of students of the Department of Photography at FAMU. Opening was moderated by actress and presenter Iva Pazderková. Gala reception was held in the Hotel Jalta.

Our millionth guest
Hotel Jalta was delighted to recently welcome it’s millionth guest, coincidentally in the same year in which it celebrates its 50th Anniversary. The millionth guest and his partner came to Prague from the United Kingdom to celebrate their own anniversary, and left with an extra special gift from us, having received free accommodation in a De Luxe room, a bottle of Bohemian sparkling wine, complimentary use of all the hotel’s services (Pay TV, WI-FI, mini-bar…) and a 2.000,- CZK voucher to the hotel’s restaurant. Congratulations.

50th Anniversary of the Hotel Jalta
This year sees the 50th Anniversary of the Hotel Jalta, which opened in 1958. As part of its ongoing celebrations, on Tuesday, lst April, the hotel organised a light-hearted press conference which took on the theme of ‚1958‘, with red flowers, Czech & Russian flags and food and drink from the era. The event was a huge success, and was appreciated by all those attending, including journalists, guests, employees and the Mayor of Prague 1, Mr Hejma, as well as one of the best and well known Czech documentary film directors, Mrs Trestikova, who has lived on Wenceslas Square for 33 years. We look forward to another 50 years of the Hotel Jalta.
